Without prior testing , unexpected color conflicts or a dull shade may occur, which does not showcase your hair to its best advantage.

How to determine your exact shade

We've created a color scale from 1 to 10 to help you classify your current hair color. 1 represents very dark hair and 10 represents the lightest blonde .

💡 Here's how to determine your exact shade:

✔ Stand in natural light.

✔ Select several strands of hair from the top of your head.

✔ Hold the strands away from your head and look at them in their full length.

✔ Focus on the color that is closest to your hairline.

✔ Compare them to our 1-10 color scale.

What does that mean for your new look?

Now that you know your current shade, you can decide whether adjustments are needed to achieve the desired color result.

Directions hair dyes look best when your hair is level 9 or 10 on the color scale. The lighter your hair, the more vibrant and intense the new color will be.

If you have blonde hair (level 8-10 on the scale):
