Earth Positive - Production of textile blanks

Sustainable production
We source our products with minimal environmental impact.

Starting with raw material sourcing, we guarantee complete traceability of all fibers and use only 100% certified organic cotton from the Earth Positive® collection. Our blanks are made from hand-picked organic cotton grown without harmful chemicals. In this way, we contribute to healthy soils and the well-being of farmers.

The factory is powered exclusively by clean, renewable energy from wind and solar power. The water is treated and reused – without any wastewater. This keeps the local systems free of harmful chemicals.

The ecological footprint is around 90% smaller than that of conventional clothing manufacturers.

Earth Positive is actively involved in the International Working Group for the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and is certified according to the Global Organic Textile Standard, the Organic Content Standard and the Global Recycled Standard.

Yarns and fabrics
The quality of the yarns and fabrics is the basis for clothing of the highest quality.

Within the vertically integrated manufacturing structure, the spinning process for almost 70% of all yarns used in production is controlled in-house. The remaining yarns are carefully sourced from external suppliers. All yarns used are fully combed and ring-spun.

All fabrics are knitted in our own production facilities and dyed with GOTS-certified chemicals. We utilize water-saving processes with controlled wastewater disposal. Production is certified according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Class I and complies with the REACH regulation.

Organically certified fabrics are dyed in a wastewater-free dye works where all water is recycled in a closed loop.

Reducing the CO₂ footprint
Since greenhouse gas emissions have been reduced to pre-industrial levels, all Earth Positive® products bear the registered "Climate Neutral" seal of approval.

The CO₂ footprint (CO₂e) includes the total amount of carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and other greenhouse gases released during the cultivation and harvesting of cotton, fiber processing, textile production, packaging, transport and storage.

No CO₂ offsetting is used. The CO₂ footprint calculations were certified by Carbon Trust Certifications in the UK between 2007 and 2009.

The CO₂ footprint of Earth Positive® products has been reduced by approximately 90%. This is achieved through innovative product design, environmentally friendly organic farming, efficient production processes, and the replacement of conventional grid electricity with renewable wind energy.

A single Earth Positive® T-shirt saves approximately 7 kg CO₂ equivalent compared to a conventional T-shirt, while a hoodie saves up to 28 kg.

"In January 2008, Earth Positive was the first company worldwide to calculate the CO2 footprint and apply the Carbon Reduction Label to textile products."

suitability for printing
Thanks to their high-quality surface finish, our textiles are particularly well suited for digital direct printing (DTG).

All products are specially designed and manufactured for textile finishing and are suitable for all screen printing processes and all types of ink, including etching.
